Manoj is a former National Silver Medallist who has represented India at various Amateur International tournaments. He has also completed his 6 Week certificate course in coaching from the National Institute of Sports, Patiala. He counts former world champions Prince Nassim as his all-time great. He has also been significantly inspired by the career of 1988 Seoul Olympian Indian Boxer Dharmender Yadav. Yadav was also amongst first professional boxing converts back in 1995. |
In his professional life, Manoj, works with the Education department of the Government of NCT Delhi . He is married to Anju and Together they have 3 kids Tulika being the eldest and twins Luv and Kush who are 14 years old. Tulika is a commercial pilot. |
