Rahul is a former National level Boxer who represented Delhi in the 2004 BD Chandiwala Senior Nationals. He counts international boxers like Ryan Garcia, Floyd Mayweather, Prince Nassim and Tyson Fury as all-time greats. He has been significantly inspired by 2008 Olympic Bronze Medallist Vijender Singh in his Amateur as well as Professional Career. Rahul has also closely followed the amateur careers of Balbir Singh (Gold, 2002 World Cadet Championships), Som Bahadur Poon (Silver, CWG 2002 Manchester), Dingko Singh (Gold, Asian Games 1998) and Manoj Kumar (Gold, 2010 Asian Games and CWG 2014). |

PERSONAL & FAMILY
In his professional life, Rahul, holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education and is currently employed as a Physical Education Teacher with the Government of NCT Delhi .
He is married to Shaifali, an MA in Mass Communication and Journalism. Together they have a daughter Mishka who is 2 years old.
Rahul’s sister, Ms Sarita Sharma, is a Scientific expert with the Delhi Forensic Science Laboratory, Government of Delhi and his younger brother, Mr. Ankit Sharma, works as the EA to the Chief Secretary to the President of India.
