Super Flyweight, 8 Rds
27-year-old Gohana born Gaurav (Longer hair & Bearded) is looking to avenge his split decision loss to Bantamweight top dog Saurabh back in January this year. This is Gaurav’s first competitive comeback after the 6round loss. A fight held in July has been listed as a No contest.
Saurabh, 26 Yrs, from Bulandshahr UP has had a significant upturn in fortunes this year. He remains unbeaten with 3 solid wins this year alone. He has faced much stiffer competition and really established himself as the No 1 ranked Bantamweight in the country. He defeated Maharashtra lad Adil Rajesh by a Majority Decision in March and Tamil boy Vaigaiselvan sekhar with a 3rd round TKO in February after his Split Decision victory over Gaurav in January.
Gaurav trains at the House of Warriors Boxing Club in Delhi with middleweight Brijesh Meena while Saurabh has been with Professional Boxing Coach Chandan Singh’s for the past few years.
Super Bantamweight, 6 Rds
21-year-old Manipuri sensation Keisham Luckyson Singh (Coloured Hair) features in this 6 round Super Bantamweight contest Jalandhar lad Honey.
Keisham has been racking up KO’s at will. He remains undefeated at 4-0 with all 4 victories coming by the way of KO’s.
Honey, needs a consistent run to establish his credentials in the Pro circuit. This is the first time that he is fighting within months of a previous fight. His last fight was in June this year where he had a points decision victory over compatriot Mohon Ali. He suffered his only loss against former amateur junior world champion Sunil Siwach back in 2019.
Super Featherweight, 6 Rds
Rakesh Lohchab takes on upstart Avikas Tarachand in these 6 round Super featherweight contests.
Rakesh is coming into this fight after back-to-back victories of Amarnath Yadav and Adil Rajesh. He had suffered a shocking 3rd rd TKO loss against current WBC India Champ Satnam Singh in December last year. Fortunes of both boxers turned leaps and bounds after that particular fight. Satnam, famously went on to win the WBC India title in the Featherweight division in March while Rakesh had to go back to basics to make his way back to the top again.
Avikas, knows his task is cut out after suffering a 6-round points loss to Shivam at New Delhi on 09th Jul 2022. His previous loss was against Lokesh Dangi in December 2021.
Welterweight, 6 Rounds
Karnal boy, Saurav Chaudhary (Bearded) makes a comeback after a year long hiatus against Uttarakhand’ pint sized power house Rahul Singh. Both boxers remain undefeated and are putting their record on the line here tonight
Having afflicted a shock defeat on Akashdeep Singh back in Oct 2021, Sagar, was expected to cause more ripples in the Super Light and Welterweight categories. He went missing and is back at the UPB tonight.
This is Rahul’s first fight with a serious opponent of repute and has the potential to go to the judges.
