In his professional life, Suraj has an MA in Physical Education and is the Head coach at Sunrise Boxing Academy in Himachal Pradesh. The Academy has been at the forefront of Professional Boxing in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
His professional and familial lives are intertwined as he is married to Meera who is also a boxing coach at Sunrise boxing Academy. Together they have a 4 year old son Devansh who has recently started schooling in Himachal.
